The price for the Local move usually based on an hourly rate and it will depend on the size of the truck and the number of men required completing your move safely and efficiently. Rates are normally higher at the end and at the beginning of the month, when all movers are busiest. This is just like paying higher price for going to the movie theatre on the weekend. Please, speak with your moving consultant to find out the best rated dates before your choosing your moving date. Keep in mind that booking earlier you will automatically giving you a better price for your move. The amount equivalent of 1 hour rate will be added to defray the cost of fuel, maintenance for the truck and also delivering labour force to your address and driving back from your new place to our truck parking facility.

HST applies to all our services and you will be given a receipt upon paying in full for the move.

Depending on the size and complexity of your move, a Prestige Van Lines consultant may need to do an in-home survey of the goods to be moved.
